Radiant Resilience: Lauren's Story

On Wednesday, August 28, four weeks after her last chemo treatment, Lauren had a PET scan done at the BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver.

Today, we met with the doctor at BC Children’s Hospital to discuss the results of the scan. The scan still showed spots that are most likely signs of inflammation due to the healing process. Since there is no way to distinguish between Hodgkin’s and inflammation, Lauren at this time didn’t receive a clean bill of health. Two months from now, she will have another PET scan that should provide much more clarity.

Although it’s not the news we were hoping for, we trust that our Heavenly Father will restore Lauren’s health in due time.
